You'll love everything the new Elantra has to share, so continue reading to learn more about it.
Performance
There are two powertrains for the new Hyundai Elantra. There's the 2.0-liter 147 horsepower four-cylinder engine found in the SE and SEL models. Then there's the turbocharged 1.6-liter that outputs 201 horsepower offered in the N-Line trim. The base 2.0-liter engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission, meanwhile, the N Line model gets a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Design
The bold, new exterior design of the Elantra, with its beveled doors and more angular hood, helps give the model a more futuristic look. The interior, too, is distinctive, offering a dashboard that wraps around the driver and a single LED strip that follows the dashboard-spanning air vent across the car's width. The rest of the cabin is quite spacious, especially in the back, and the truck is decently sized, with six carry-on suitcases in the trunk.
Technology
A host of technologies is available in the new Elantra. There's an eight-inch center display with an eight-inch analog instrument cluster. Although an optional 10.3-inch digital gauge display and a second 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen are available. Offered on the new display are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi connection. Voice recognition is also available, and it can adjust the climate setting or control the heated seats. A six-speaker stereo is standard, but in the Limited and N-Line trims, an eight-speaker Bose stereo is available.

Safety
Most safety features in the Elantra are standard, including forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitor, driver attention warning, rear automatic braking, and more. For more advanced features like rear parking sensors or a surround-view camera system, shoppers will need to purchase higher trims.
