Recommended Summer Service Before You Head Out On Your Next Summer Trip

School is out and it's time for some fun in the sun! Before you begin your long road trips or short weekend getaways, there are a few summer service issues that you should have checked out.

Oil Changes

You're probably thinking, oil changes are on every "recommended service list" and you would be right. Oil changes are the most common routine maintenance issues and should be done about every 7,500-miles or every 6-months, whichever comes first. That means that if you had your oil changed before the winter began, it's probably time to have it done again.

Tire Inspection And/Or Alignment

Whether you're from Gulfport, Biloxi, or beyond, you've most likely run into some form of pot hole of debris on the road. Before you start your travels, be sure to thoroughly inspect your tires, for both wear and problems, and have them properly aligned before you go.

Fluids And Brake Pads

If you any of your fluids are leaking or if your brake pads are getting pretty thin, then you'll want to have them fixed or replaced before you head out on the open road. You don't want them to finally burst, go empty, or wear completely down when you're in a city that you aren't familiar with.

If you require and of the above maintenance or repairs to be performed or if you're in need of other auto service, don't hesitate to schedule an appointment with our Jason Pilger Hyundai service center, located in Gautier MS and just outside of Ocean Springs and Mobile AL. We'll get your vehicle ready for fun and adventure in no time.
